Our English classes for teens offer the best possible combination for teenage learners:
Excellent classroom teaching
Free access to computers and the internet
Friendly enjoyable classes
A fantastic social programme of afternoon and evening activities
Excellent location close to shops, banks, sports facilities and other amenities
Classes run from 9am to 12.30pm or 9.30am to 1pm every day. You learn from our own specially written study booklets, designed specifically for teenagers. Every lesson covers a different topic so you can be sure we will include many different areas in a two-week or three-week programme. Classes are normally limited to 15 students (maximum 16).
Phrase of the day
Review of earlier English language lessons in the week
Project 100 in every class guarantees that every group will learn at least 100 new words and phrases every week
Songs and music: Every two weeks, each group chooses an English song they like, learns and practises it and then performs the song in our Friday afternoon talent show. This is a good way to find out more about your fellow teenage students' favourite music and artists.
* Please contact us if you are enquiring on behalf of under-12s
Our junior activity programme offers a varied selection of daily afternoon activities and evening events like discos, karaoke, skating, circus skills or bowling.
Every Wednesday, at the Queens Avenue site, we have an afternoon excursion to places of interest such as Weston-super-Mare beach, the SS Great Britain, Bristol Zoo or the City of Bath.
On some afternoon excursions, you get a quiz, which gives you a chance to use your knowledge of English in a friendly competitive atmosphere.
On Saturdays, and some Sundays, there are whole-day trips to London, Cardiff, Oxford, Warwick castle and exciting local destinations like Wells or Cheddar.
Excursions include a guided tour by the accompanying teachers and visits to places of interest in the city or town being visited.
All of these social opportunities give you the chance to make the most of your time in Bristol, see more of the UK and practise the English you will learn while you are with us.
