I originally moved to Bristol from Chester in 2005, to study mathematics at Bristol University. After graduating, I left the UK and travelled for about 3 years, to many countries in Southeast Asia plus New Zealand & Australia, before eventually moving back to Bristol in 2012. I love living here; this city is so lively & vibrant, it never fails to surprise me!
It is a real pleasure for me to run the Social Programme at International House, as I get to showcase the very best that Bristol has to offer. We are just coming to the end of another fantastic summer at International House, packed with free festivals and events, but the fun doesn't stop there...Autumn & Winter in Bristol are just as busy, with Halloween coming up, followed by Guy Fawkes' night and then of course the run into Christmas, when we enjoy traditional foods, markets and ice-skating! Look out for our annual trip to the Christmas Panto too!
When I am not in school, I enjoy much the same things as you probably do, travelling to new countries, meeting new people & trying new foods! My next trips are to the Canary Islands, Majorca and also to Barcelona, so if you have have suggestions for me, please come & tell me!
