Happy Holidays & Hope's for 2025
Looking back on 2024 is an emotional roller coaster. So much has happened, some of it good and some of it bad and as the year draws to a close, it feels like a good time to take a deep breath and turn my face to the future with a sense of hope.
New years bring new beginnings. We are looking forward to welcoming back our continuing students and to meeting our new intake for the first time. We will have the pleasure, the absolute joy of having a group of Winter Junior students from Peru, Brazil and Korea. Junior students bring such positivity to the school. Their enthusiasm for learning and their willingness to make new friends and explore new cultural perspectives is heart-warming.
And we see the same openness and ability to accept the new in our adult students, as well. Watching students from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa interacting, having fun and giving so much of themselves while learning to communicate better with others makes what we do worthwhile.
So, I am ending the year on a little high. Whilst there are still people in the world who want to better themselves through learning English and who are doing so in part to make the world a better place, I have to recognize that the small part we play in such life-changing transformations is something to celebrate.
