Students of The Month:
Congratulations to our September Students of the Month, Saud and Rosie!!
Saud is from Tabuk in Saudi Arabia and has been here since May. He came to study English here as he wants to his improve his language before studying for a Master’s in Data Science.
Saud says that he likes Bristol because it is not too big and not too small, and it has friendly people and the city is not too crowded.
At IHB he says that he likes the rules and the structure of the lessons suits him. Saud says he impressed by the technology such as using the smartboards to learn. He also says that he likes the teachers and the receptionists are very helpful whenever he has problems.
Saud has made consistent efforts to improve his English over the last months and has been a great candidate for student of the month. Well done!
Rosie is from Busan in South Korea. She has been with IHB since May. Rosie says she is studying English as it will be useful for communicating both in her future job and also wherever else she happens to travel as English is a global language.
She says that she likes Bristol because it is so different to Busan – Busan has many big skyscrapers, whereas Bristol is quite small. However, it’s not too busy and the people are kind.
A friend recommended IHB to her and she feels that it is the perfect choice for her as the teachers are really cool and they use really useful books – actually everything is good!
The teachers nominated Rosie because she always works hard to learn and use new language and always has a positive attitude to learning in the lessons.
