Students of the Month - August 2021
Congratulations Loane & Jisuk!
Both students are currently attending face-to-face English classes with us in Bristol. Here's what their teachers had to say about them:
"Loane is from a small village in the French speaking part of Switzerland. At home, she attends an accountancy school and enjoys horse riding in the countryside. Loane is studying English because she will be moving closer to Geneva when she returns to Switzerland and believes that having a good knowledge of the language will help to improve her job prospects.
Loane thinks the people in Bristol are really friendly and she always feels safe here. Her favourite thing about IH Bristol is the teachers because they have helped her to feel more confident when speaking in English.
The teachers were impressed by Loane’s positivity and dedication to her studies. She is always cheerful and is eager to progress with the language. Well done Loane!"
"Jisuk is from Busan in South Korea. She is studying English because as a volunteer previously she found it helpful, and would like to continue volunteering in the future, with greater possibilities afforded by having better English.
She says that she likes Bristol because it is a beautiful city with a free atmosphere, and as it is a university city it has a number of foreign students.
Jisuk likes IH Bristol because the teachers are kind and understand her pronunciation and meaning. She also enjoys the fact that there are students from many different countries in the school.
The teachers chose Jisuk because she works hard in the class and always makes an effort to try using the new language from the classes. She has a very positive attitude and works well with all the other students. Well done!"
