Studying for TESOL at International House Bristol was probably one of the hardest but most rewarding things I’ve ever done. It’s a very thorough course which gets you teaching from day one, and which trains you to think about your students’ needs in a much more rounded way, whether that’s why they are learning English or how their linguistic or cultural background impacts on the learning process and their ability. Tutors give you a strong grounding in grammar and methodology, which you can apply in your teaching practices and into the future. It’s tough, but I can’t recommend the course highly enough.
