I came up with the idea to go to the UK to study English when I realized the necessity of getting a rather high score in the IELTS exam. I didn’t want to go to a big city because they are quite impersonal What’s more, one of my conditions was to be walking distance from a host family to the school, which big cities often fail to provide. As I was doing the IELTS preparation course I found it extremely convenient that IH Bristol is an official exam centre which simplified the registration for the exam a lot.

It was really worthwhile to study at International House. IH Bristol provided me with valuable knowledge of authentic English language. I enjoyed the lessons guided by professional teachers as well as the opportunity of supervised study which helped me a lot in my exam preparation and which is one of the numerous advantages of IH. Everyone in IH Bristol was friendly and helpful. The classrooms were well-equipped.

My study at IH contributed a lot to my English language performance as I feel I’ve made a significant improvement in English. My final IELTS result was 7.5.
