Student of the Month (June)
Let me introduce to you our june students of the month!! Our teachers were really impressed with Stop and Mohammad and have left their feedback below.
Stop is from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, where she works as an interior designer. She came to Bristol to improve her English, and she hopes that doing so will give her more opportunities in her job and help to improve her career prospects. She loves travelling and wants to be able to speak more easily and naturally with local people in English speaking countries.
Stop likes Bristol because she always feels safe here. She likes the size of the city, as it’s not too big and not too small, and she thinks that it is generally a very cool place to live and study! She also loves all the green spaces we are lucky enough to have here.
The teachers chose Stop as the Student of the Month because she is kind, friendly and helpful to other students, and she has a positive and enthusiastic attitude learning. Well done Stop!
Mohammad came to Bristol to improve his English language skills, particularly in speaking. It is his first time in the UK, and Bristol has exceeded his expectations – he loves the Suspension Bridge, Brunel and Banksy! He thinks that the school has a good mix of nationalities, and he likes how respectful the teachers are towards different cultures and religions.
Mohammad comes from Anak, a small town on the East Coast of Saudi Arabia, where the weather is often muggy. He is proud to be studying Mechanical Engineering at the prestigious King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and he needs to have a high level of English so that he can deliver presentations to other students on his course.
We chose Mohammad as Student of the Month because he is inquisitive, enthusiastic, respectful and generous (we all enjoyed the Arabic coffee he brought in for us to try!) Well done Mohammad!
Congratulations and keep up the good work!
