Free English lessons at IH Bristol

Are you living in Bristol, and would like to improve your English for FREE?

IH Bristol is a teacher training centre, and regularly offers free English lessons taught by trainee teachers on our CELTA course. See below for details of our upcoming courses, and bookmark this page to check back for future updates.

Next course dates: Monday 10th February – Friday 7th March 2025

  • The classes will take place at IH Bristol, either 2 Queens Avenue, Bristol BS8 1SE or 27 Oakfield Rd Clifton, Bristol BS8 2AT(make sure you check the address on your confirmation email!).
  • There will be classes every day from Monday to Friday, from 10:00pm to around 12:00, depending on the day.
  • You are welcome to attend every day if you can, but you are also welcome to come whenever possible if you can’t do every day.
  • NO PARKING - Please be aware there is no parking available for cars, vans, motorcylces or mopeds at the school! There is plenty of space for bicycles.

*Before you start free classes, you will need to register. Registering does not guarantee a place on the course - an invitation email will be sent out 2-3 weeks before the start of the course.
