How To Use These Phrases In Your English:
- We use phrase 1 with an intention when we haven't decide when to do it although we are quite certain we will do it. Follow it with going to + infinitive.
- We use phrase 2 to say that we don't really agree with another person's opinion or assessment. It can sound a little rude / dismissive of the other person's view.
- We use phrase 3 to say that it's easy to talk about an action, but more difficult to do it.
- We use phrase 4 as an adverb to show that people or animals performed the verb individually, not as a group.
- People often say phrase 5 to introduce a complaint and to give the idea that their complaint is more serious.
