Exam candidate parking | International House Bristol

Our exam venues are in the Clifton district of Bristol which has excellent transport links: we therefore recommend using public transport to get to your IH Bristol exam.

There is no candidate parking at our exam venues themselves apart from blue badge holders. If you are a blue badge holder, please notify us at least 10 days before the exam.

It is possible to park on the Clifton Downs in Bristol for free for up to five hours. Parking is subject to restrictions between the hours of 9.00 and 5.00 so candidates can park there before 9.00 and leave their car until 2.00 or from 12.00 and leave their car there for the rest of the day.
On foot, it is approximately 1.4 km/17 minutes to 27 Oakfield Road, (BS8 2AT) and 2.7 km/35 minutes to 2 Queens Avenue (BS8 1SE).
Alternatively, candidates can take any bus going down Whiteladies Road and get off outside the BBC building for Oakfield Road or on Queens Road for Queens Avenue. From the BBC building, it is a further 4 minutes to 27 Oakfield Road and from Queens Road it is less than 2 minutes to 2 Queens Avenue (BS8 1SE).
