We cannot guarantee your own bathroom in homestay; usually this is shared with some members of the family or some other students.

Laundry facilities will be provided, though the arrangements may vary between hosts – some may do it for you, and some may ask you to use the washing machine

There is a washing machine in the residence for all students to use. You will need to buy your own laundry products
If you would like to change your dates , please speak to a member of staff at reception or send us an email as soon as you know the new dates. Changes will be subject to availability.
If you intend to leave your accommodation early, please inform the office staff as soon as possible. You must give at least 1 week’s notice. You will not be given a refund of your accommodation fees if you decide to leave early, and we recommend that you take out insurance to cover for this.
You can add an extra night, or perhaps two extra nights, to the beginning or the end of your booking but only if you are booking a minimum 2-week stay. Extra nights are charged extra.
Students are expected to arrive on a Sunday and to depart on a Saturday. It is sometimes possible to add an extra night or two to the beginning or end of your stay.
Holidays must be booked more than one week in advance, can only be booked for full weeks and will be refunded at half the cost of the accommodation, provided you do the above.

Yes, you can sometimes extend in homestay and residence if there is space. Please note, our hosts are popular and get booked up months in advance, so you may need to move to a different homestay if you extend your booking. You can extend in residence, providing there is availability. If no availability, you will need to depart and look for alternative accommodation.
Yes, you must pay a deposit and this is returned to you after you leave if, and only if, you leave the room and bathroom in an acceptable state, have caused no damage and have no outstanding charges. Deposits are retuned after the accommodation is inspected and this may take a few days. If the accommodation has not been cleaned to the correct standard, the amount of deposit returned my be lower.
No. You can not smoke in homestay or residence.
Homestay:
Yes, this is OK but you will need to inform us in advance as we need to ask if the host is available to host you during the Christmas period, and there is a supplement fee to be paid to the host.
