What happens on your first day?
On your first day, we ask you to come to school one hour before classes begin.
Who do you talk to?
Our friendly admin team will welcome you. They will check your personal details and ask to see your passport.
What do you need?
If you have sent us a photo, you will receive your IH Bristol student card. You will also receive a welcome folder, including our student handbook. A member of our admin team will go through the welcome folder with you, and explain what to do in an emergency. This happens in our students' room, together with the other new students.
Where should you go?
All new students have a tour of the building. Then we show you to your classroom.
Which class will you be in?
On your first morning, our Principal or a senior teacher will give you a short speaking test, just you and the teacher. Don't worry — it is only to find the best class for you!
What about after school?
After school, we have welcome drinks at a bar near the school, or welcome coffee at the school. New students get their first drink free!
