In the mornings, you will improve your English in every class while gaining confidence and making new friends. In the afternoons, you can choose from our range of Creative Classes: Drama, Photography, Video-making & Football. In these classes, students stop thinking about the language and start using it to do something together. This helps shy students relax and really communicate in English.

On some afternoons, you do different activities: mini-golf, graffiti art, cultural visits, sports and more. There really is something for everyone.

Students aged 12-13 may be offered half board homestay accommodation only if the student is travelling with a group leader or staying with an older 14+ year old sibling (no restrictions for students aged 12-13 who have their own accommodation)

20 lessons (15 hours per week)
Mornings (lessons 1-4): using International House Bristol's own in-house materials, with a balance of skills, vocabulary and grammar. Every morning we also teach our Phrase of the Day to help you sound more natural in your language use and our Cultural Question to help you learn about UK and other students’ cultures. Teachers include additional English focuses which are useful for the students in the class.
In the Creative Classes, you use the English you are learning in an active, fun way — and you learn new skills at the same time.
