Our summer school opens in 2027. It is perfect for students who want a safe campus with lots of space to learn and make new friends — and the food is fantastic too!

In the mornings, you will improve your English in every class while gaining confidence and making new friends. In the afternoons, you can choose from our range of Creative Classes: Drama, Photography, Video-making & Football. By shifting the focus away from the language itself onto using language to achieve a common goal, we enable you to overcome any shyness and to really communicate in English.

After creative classes you have the opportunity to use the wonderful sports facilities: tennis courts, badminton courts, volleyball courts and much more.

Bedrooms are single or double, with wardrobes, chest of drawers, and a desk and chair for each student.
Where possible, we mix students from different countries in the bedrooms. This helps them practise English and learn about other cultures.

20 lessons (15 hours per week)
Mornings (lessons 1-4): using International House Bristol's own in-house materials, with a balance of skills, vocabulary and grammar. Every morning we also teach our Phrase of the Day to help you sound more natural in your language use and our Cultural Question to help you learn about UK and other students’ cultures. Teachers include additional English focuses which are useful for the students in the class.
The Creative Classes will give you a unique opportunity to use the language you are learning in a dynamic context while also acquiring new skills.
